The Combat Marksmanship Trainer Course (CMT) is structured to support the Marine Corps Rifle and Pistol Marksmanship programs, including Entry level and Annual Rifle marksmanship training. This course is intended for E-4 and above. This is a fifteen day course. Training consists of classroom instruction and practical application on Preparatory, Table 1, Table 2, Table 3, and Table 4 training (MCCCS.11.1-11.8) for the service rifle, and M9 service pistol classes and qualification.
The Combat Marksmanship Trainer is responsible for instruction of marksmanship training to entry level and annual level markshmanship to include, the set up of appropriate training aid and materials, checking serviceability of training aids references and materials, organize training area, and reviewing lesson plans. The maximum number of students for this course is 10 students per class.
Any Marine from units outside Parris Island attending the course must be a GOV credit card holder in good standing with a credit limit of $4K or has been issued an initial advance of $3K five days prior to course check in. |
