Becoming a drill instructor is an extraordinary opportunity to directly impact the future of the United States Marine Corps. Drill Instructor School is designed to challenge Marines at every aspect of leadership. This is accomplished by rigorous developmental programs in our core values, physical conditioning, close order drill, Marine Corps common skills and detailed instruction on the Recruit Training Order. Upon graduation, you must demonstrate a superior level of physical prowess, academic excellence, and confidence performing and instructing close order drill. Success at Drill Instructor School is based on the following: INTENSITY, HARD WORK, TIME MANAGEMENT, DISCIPLINE, and HONOR.
