There are DOD schools located on Laurel Bay. Galer Elementary School and Elliot Elementary School accomodate Pre-K to 2nd graders. Children in 3rd to 6th Grade will attend Bolden Elementary School. The Middle School for Parris Island residents is Robert Smalls Middle School, which is a year-round school. The High School for Parris Island Residents is Battery Creek High School. The Middle School district for the Naval Hospital is Beaufort Middle School (Year-round), and High School is Beaufort High School.
