Permanent Change of Station (PCS)

The MCRD/ERR Inspector implements a Commanding General Inspection Program to promote efficiency, economy, mission performance, and to provide subordinate commanders with a tool to assess their organizational strengths and weakness.

The duties of the Command Inspector are:

▪ Special Correspondence for the C.G.	▪ Congressional Interests
▪ Union Grievances	▪ Juvenile court Hearings
▪ Hotline Complaints	▪ Request mast

Individuals may submit a Complaint or Advisory report per Depot Order 7510.4A, to the
Depot Inspector’s “Hotline” Program.

3 Step Hotline Complaint Procedures

Step 1:

What have you done to resolve the issue before contacting us?
The Hotline Complaint Program should be considered as a last resort after exhausting all other possible options.

Who may use the Hotline?
Anyone can file a hotline complaint.

Is there a time limit to file a complaint?
Complaints should be filed within 90 days of the alleged wrongdoing. However, we will consider complaints over 90 days old if extraordinary circumstances are proven.

What issues should you report to the Hotline?
You should report any issue as described in the Depot Order 7510.A

Can I remain anonymous or request confidentiality?
You may remain anonymous, but we will not be able to contact you for more information. You may request confidentiality, and the Command Inspector will make every effort to prevent disclosure of your identity, but we cannot guarantee confidentiality.

How do you submit a hotline complaint?
The Command Inspector encourages you to submit the allegation(s) in writing by letter or fax using the online complaint form. Also, by the using the hotline number provided on the website.

Step 3:

If you have determined the issue is appropriate for an Inspector General investigation, gather the information you will need to submit your complaint.
